Xperia S charging problem.

I have bought Xperia S 3 months earlier. From last few days i am facing a problem with charging my phone. Whenever i plug my phone with charger, it charges very slowly (i.e about 20% in 1hr) and moreover the phone starts to discharge during the charging even the phone is in sleep mode.

I dont know whether this problem is with charger or with my phone!

Please somebody give me a solution.

Try with another charger to see if it's the phone or the charger who causes the problem.

Try also to hold down on/off key and volume down key at the same time to reset the phone.

Let me know if problem persists.

Sir, i just tried with another charger but the problem still persists.

And by hoding those two keys you mentioned, it takes a snapshot of screen and no reset activity happens.

I have spent 26000 Indian Rupees for this phone, and nobody will like to have such problems in few months after spending this much amount of money.

I hope you will help me out to get rid of this situation.

Sorry sir, I meant on/off key and volume up-key at the same time until you feel a vibration.

If problem persists you can try to do a repair of the phone software aswell:

Click on this link to get Sony PC companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know if you are still having this issue after the repair of the phone software.

I am currently going through the same problem, I have read this post and done as instructed but nothing. please help :(, ive tried different chargers, different plug sockets reset, repair but nothing. what could be causing this
