External Speaker Problem

The external speakers on my Sony Xperia T have stopped working, Just wondering what i can do to try and get them functioning again. I have updated the phone and ran the diagnostics test which showed the speakers were faulty. Is there anyway to change to ringtone to the internal speakers which still function while i try and get the external speakers working again? and what can i do to get the speakers working again?

I have not dropped or damaged the phone in anyway that i am aware of.

Sorry to hear that, have you tried to do a repair of the phone software?

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

If problem persists I recommend you to contact your local support for further information on how to send your phone to a repair center for investigation:

Yeah I tried that earlier and didnt have any luck with it, thanks anyway though

Download "Xperia Diagnostics" from google play and test ear speaker but it wont work. Plugin earphone and remove then do the test again and repeat the same no. of times. It will start working
