Sony are you listening to the camera complaints?

Once more again and i'm sure alot of us follow the tech sites i've seen a company or oem pushed an update for their phone that deals with camera issues please sony i'm begging you push an update that deals with the compression issues of the T,TX,Z and ZL. Stop making yourselves look bad we all know you can do better the satio is taking better photos and so to the cyber shot please just help us we've spent our money and want some satisfaction.I mean pics look good on the phone but horrible on the pc and ppl will say not but trust me just zoom in or take a pic at anything above 5mp and ask for normal size and see what i mean. Please just fix this and also the security breach from the lock screen.

For the moderators i think you should view this to understand what we mean i'm sure you make the sensors for two of the phones in the article yet your phones dont come close in the camera deoartment.http://www.phonedog.com/2013/04/25/despite-reviews-only-you-can-decide-which-camera-is-best/ now some of us will disagree but some will agree sony you can do a whole lot better job with the camera software optimization surely cause youmake sensors for apple and samsung and i've never gotten photos like these when i upload to my pc from none of my phones.

Unfortunately, they will not listen to you.

I got this phone last October, and since then, I always said the same than you.

Let's be clear... if they would care, the problem would be fixed already. Sony it is not what it was used to be anymore.

I miss the good times of Sony-Ericsson.

It is clear that Sony without Ericsson it's a company that only is searching for money.

Good Luck man... I am just waiting for the new Galaxy and I'll sell this cr*p as fast as I can!!

Then will be REALLY funny to compare the 13Mpx (T - Z - S4)

We forward all issues we stumble upon here on the forums. Unfortunately we (the admins/mods here at the forums) don't have any information on what changes that will be done in upcoming updates.

Changes: two more panel in the homescreen. I have this phone since 1 november and the updates brings me two panels, and after 6 monts a hole phone is worse than when I bought it.

Apparently it's not your fault if you forward our complains. I had given several times with the same comment than you did, although Sony did nothing.

That's sad, because or they don't even care about our complains, or they don't even know how to fix the ridiculous quality of the pictures.

Wether if it's one point or the other, definetely, Sony now it's just a joke if we think in old times.

Anyways, thank you for forwarding the complain, but reading the experience of older Sony phones users and new ones (like the Z), noone should be confident that Sony will REALLY listen to us.

Hi Mods,

Do the Testing and Development teams even look at the top complained/Reported issue??

Image quality has been the top Complained Since the Days of Xperia Arc... The same damn image Compression issue,,,,

These phones have not much limitation in speed as in the case of Xperia Arc

You know Samuel... if you really forward our complains (I wil assume that it's this way)... can you please forward them a question about the camera, please?

Just ask them this:

WHY, after spending 600€ in a phone that it's supposed will take 13Mpx pictures (when this is 100% A LIE), we have to agree with the quality that Sony decided it's the best, and DO NOT ALLOW to the customers (the ones that pay the defective Sony phones), decide by themselves?

So... SAMSUNG, HTC, NOKIA... they allow their customers to take the quality that they wish, but Sony (probably thinking that the customers are abnormals and retarded people), decided that this option belongs to them and ONLY to them.

I just wonder what kind of developers Sony Phone has, that agree with that cr*p pictures, and not only this, they don't give us the option to choose. What kind of Company does this to their customers???...

It is not strange to read then that doing this way, Sony loose customers each year (with music, playstation, phones, tv... etc). I just wonder in what point, the #1 company, decided to be the 5th or 6th, ONLY because they decided to treat us like a sh*t., and do things wrong. Beacause, honestly, if your software was amazing, noone would complain. Instead of that, you do wrong your job, you don't fix it, and not happy with that, you don't even give us the chance to choose or fix it by ourselves.

Anyways, just ask them, so we will know what kind of answer (if so) they will send you.

I have to agree with you. It's very unstable. Not a fan of the 'superior auto' feature. My ARC took amazing pics a reason why that phone lasted so long. Hopefully they can work the kinks out.

I've been watching pictures taken with my iphone 4 (5Mpx camera)... man, how I miss that quality...

I just wondered...

5Mpx camera pictures (my son on the beach) = 2,70Mb (almost zero noise)

13Mpx camera pictures (my son playing on the street) = 2,1Mb (cr*ap quality lots of noise everywhere)

Man, I am not sure what is going on with Sony and their developers, but sure they need to

change their mind or they will end being the last company.

Less phones each year with defective hardware/software (as it happens now), and more support to the released phones would be a great idea.

Probably Sony bosses doesnt know this (and sure they are old enough to know)... quantity doesn't means quality.

Does it sounds familiar?
