no power now

hi ..after replacing a smashed screen on my xperia s, it now will not power up...any suggestions on how to fix are welcome

Hold down on/off button and volume up until you feel a vibration (phone will restart)

or hold down on/off button and volume up until you feel 3 vibrations (phone will turn off)

Try to charge the phone for a couple of hours. You can also try to do a repair of the phone software and see if that will solved the problem:

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

the phone has been charged for hours ...the orange light shows power charging, but phone still will not power on.

Have you tried all these things I said earlier? Have you tried a repair of the phone software?

the phone will not power on....all i done was take old screen off and replace it,,,it will not switch on...i have it connected to laptop, another sony product...pc companion will not recognise phone is connected. and yes i did try the above,,,i tried all this before posting my original question thanks
