Have you installed some other messaging apps? Such as: Whatsapp etc?

So you do not get any notification from the standard messaging-app?

What kind of notification you mean? the LED notification or or pop-up notification in top panel? Specify! )

Did you activate your battery saver? or Stamina Mode? If you activate

that, you will not get LED notifications for SMS and missed calls.. Read on

below for solutions. Take note that you need ROOT to be able to do this.

I am also having same problem with msg notification tone, it works after restart but stops after some hours automatically.Then I restart phone and it starts again.

I have repaired my phone using PC companion but same problem remains.No Stamina Mode is ON.

What is your suggestion for this problem? Sometimes I miss important messages, I dont want to downgrade because it will void my warranty.

My Jelly Bean Build Number is 6.2.A.1.100.
