I bought a Sony Xperia P a month ago from an internet reseller. It has worked fine as I upgraded it to the newest firmware, added a SIM card, etc. But today a couple things started going wrong that shouldn't go wrong with a $300 phone right after you get it.

First, my speaker (on the side of the phone) started crackling when a noise is played through it. Note that I can play a song, but a notification or quicker played sudden noise causes crackling, which is, in my opinion, something that shouldn't happen to a new phone such as this.

Second, last night my phone was in my pocket. When I took it out to make a call, I noticed that the plastic bottom cover with the word "XPERIA" on it was falling off on one side. After investigating this peculiarity, I realize that there is a little plastic clip attached to the phone that connects the clip to the phone. Somehow it broke. I wouldn't say this was through normal wear and tear, as I've only owned the phone a month and NEVER dropped it.

I just want a phone that works and I think I may have got a lemon. Anyone else had these issues??
