Xperia Sp Stamina Mode Crash / Not Working.

Hi,

Stamina mode is not working for me

-- Initially it worked but after few days it shows me the same time with stamina mode on or of.

-- i have flashed the phone and also tried the factory restore... but the problem resurfaces again after few hours or days.

-- also iam not sure but this error has turned up after the firmware update.

do you have any

taskillers

task managers

antivirus

battery apps

ram apps?

Hi,

This started happening after 3 days of basic use of the phone

Have installed office pro, few games and 1 gb of music files apart for basic sucial apps like whats app facebook twitter and mails wifi analyzer

the problem had repeated even before i restored my phone when i had just flashed via Pc companion

Hi,

No non of those have been installed

nor have disabled any apps nor have i tried to force stop it nor have i tried to ristrict any functionality.

oh ok, now I understand your issue

tap on STAMINA mode > if you have excluded (add apps to the list) apps that require data/wifi connection then your data and/or wifi will be on, thus defeating the purpose of having STAMINA mode on

Hi,

thats the point i have not added any apps to the list all the setting for power management are at default.

and also if a do so there should be some difference in the timing of the stamina mode being on or off.

and also as i have said before the same setting used to show a difference of any where from 1 day to 2 days and from 10 hrs to 30 hrs

when the stamina modw is switched on or off

I understand this and as per the usage rate mentioned i say i do not use the phone that much so that it cannot make any difference with stamina mode on or offf

Never the less i will keep a track and get bace in 2 to 3 days time...

follow below steps.

settings-apps-eco mode controller-> clear the data and restart the phone.

stamina mode is up again now but expecting sony to release permanent fix for this

Uninstall any antivirus including mcafee that comes with phone

and task killers and factory reset the phone

it works for sure ,atleast worked for me

ps- dnt backup and restore the same after reset. Instal apps manually one by one

Try settings->apps->all->extended Stanby mode controller -> clear data and then force stop -> and restart the phone..

I am also facing the same problem aftr a month of purchase! As suggested abv, I cleared eco mode controller but no use, then searched for exteneded standyby mode controller app, but couldnt find it! Whr shld i download it? Normally i had 14 hrs of battery, rough usage, fb, messenger, whatsapp, 2 hrs music, texting, phone calls fr 1 hr atleast.. is this usage normal? or i hav drainy battery?

Hi ak, go to settings->apps->all->extende standby mode controller->clear data. Force stop. Then restart the phone.. It will work for sure.

The problem is not the Stamina mode, the problem is the 3G. There is NO difference in battery consumption being in a 3G network, whether you're with data traffic enabled or not. And as Stamina Mode disables data when the screen is off, the projection of the estimated time does not change if it is activated or not. I have the same problem and I have not received any reply in this thread: 3G and Battery

PS: Sorry my bad english.
