I have to restart the phone to find the signal again.

Other wi-fi networks around my house are available and visible all the time. Only my on home wi-fi behaves like this.

The router is ok, the laptops are connected, other phones are connected, only my sony cannot see the network.

After restart everything is ok for 12-24 hours. Then needs a new restart.

Also mobile network signal is very low compared to an old nokia phone.

Bad business this sony phone...

You could test with adding the network manually and check if you still get this or similar problem. If yes a software reinstall using SUS might be worth trying.

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/
