Hi SonyMobile,

i would buy sony xperia sp but i need to know i compass works (well) on this phone.

In the whitepaper there is "magnetometer: no", but this video

and this image

show that there's a magnetic sensor.

So, has xperia sp the magnetometer or not?

And if not, why at these links we can see that there's magnetic sensor working?

I use this app for compass and it works well with my Xperia SP!!

It shows values of sensor. It's working so compass is present. If I do remember correctly compass is the same chip as gyroscope.

You can buy this device if you need compass...

BTW. This phone is awsome. :smileygrin:

Battery is quiet well. I'm suprised of phone on time.

Camera cloud be better, but think we can expect SW update which will improve camera quality.

Good phone - nice price.

BEST CHOOSE IN THIS PRICE AND CLASS...
