Sony Xperia SP Charging problem.

Hi,

I am not able to charge my Xperia SP using the data cable if the drivers required for the device are not installed.

Moreover, if computer is in sleep mode, the phone qon't charge.

there are other threads on the same topic, if the computer is off or idle it is not going to charge your phone as simple as that

If you don't want to install the MTP driver but still charge your phone on the PC, you can change the connectivity to MSC (Mass Storage Device). On plug, the MSC is automatically unmounted and connected to the PC. Click the notification to disconnect and have access back to your sd card but still have the phone charging. Hope this helps.
