i get a pop up error. i'm using the flixster app to play my ultraviolet movies. The error message says "Playback Problem...Unable to play movie on this deivce for security reasons, please try again. We have logged this error and are working to resolve the problem" According to the Flixster and Ultraviolet websites the Sony Xperia Z is supported for streaming.

the app only shows sony's trailers for movies currently in theaters or coming soon and in stores. it doesn't have the ultraviolet library.

yes it is. i contacted sony about it and they said its not on their end. its on flixster/ultraviolets app. i hate the blame game companies play with hardware manufacturers and software companies. its always the other company's fault. why not just get with each other and fix the problem? that's what makes a company a great company.

besides the specs on the tablet z is basically like the xperia z so there shouldnt be a glitch in software to make it work imo.

I have exactly the same problem here on both my Xperia Z and Tablet Z.

I'm using Flixster to stream and it worked the very first time I played a movie on my Tablet Z, but the app crashes when trying to stream the same or any other movie. I can download a movie, but I get the "cannot play due to security reasons" message. Flixster doesn't actually support playback of downloaded movies - only streaming, which seems rather odd.

If the app is not working, I would have thought the onus was on Flixtster to get contact with Sony (if they need Sony's help). Sony can't be expected to chase up every app provider whose program doesn't work.

II'vehad my xperia Tablet Z for5 days now and the Sony movie centre is not recognizing my ultraviolet/flixter movies and refuses to play them. Ironic really because some of them are actually Sony studio movies. Who is responsible for this? Get yourmheads together and sort it out. I'm fed up with paying out thousands of pounds on gadgets only to then have issues with apps that don't work as promised. Don't even get me started on SKYgo.

**bleep** is Sony playing at....I sign up for ultraviolet films to download Elysium via code only to be told I need Windows silverlight...Ffs Sony whats your game, you dont support windows or wma etc on ps3 or xperia so why set up uv films this way.

Trouble watching movies online

Every time I log into ultraviolet and select a movie to watch I get a need new Flash Player page. I then get a message saying Flash Player not available for your operating system. I have tried several browsers and none of them work. either Google or Sony should get their head out of their **bleep** and fix this problem. I bought sony tablet so I could go on line and watch my movies and I cant. Perhaps I will return it and get my money back. does anyone have any idea how to watch the moviesg
