Remove Safe Mode

My xperia J is running on safe mode and i want it in normal mode.

I have tried many things: kept sim, memory card out of the phone and kept it switch off for hours but still its in safe mode.

Please suggest how to remove safe.mode.

Also worst thong is that volume down key is not working...and while talking to somebody volume automatically gets down....I know I can update the software to JB but there will be more difficulties.after that..plz suggest.

Unfortunately both of these problems are related. To put the phone into safe mode you hold the volume down button whilst powering it on. In this circumstance it appears to be a hardware issue in which case I would advise contacting your local Xperia Care team to have this looked at.

Thanks for your reply Sam, I will surely contact Xperia care team.

But just to let u know I never tried anything to switch it on to Safe mode. It's just I changed my Sim card one day & phone automatically switch on to safe mode. A phone on safe mode is very irritating U can't apply new apps, already installed apps don't responce properly.

after taking sim card out, u must power on without sim card, let it boot completely n u should not see words afe mode. insert your sim card again. you should be out of safe mode. Thought of this n tried it after various options on the internet did not work.
