DK25 charge dock issue

Hello all

I am having a problem with my DK25. When the battery is really low (indication is red on battery status), and I insert the V into the docking, it starts behaving funny. Seems to start/stop charging sequence really quickly, making this start/stop charging sound all the time. Seems it goes into some sort of loop. If I insert the charge cable directly into the phone, it charges normally. I am on the latest firmware.

Everything is behaving normally if I insert it into the dock before it turns red on battery indication.

Any suggestions?

Hello, i haven't experienced such problem, will keep an eye on it.

Dose the problem you mentioned persist?

I too have the DK25; however, have not experienced any issues. I would check the contacts on the dock and phone, making sure they are clean. Also, check and/or set the dock settings on the phone (eg., what programs to start up when docked). There are numerous options with that program...personally, I kept it simple, with only Time/Date program turning on when docked.

i get the same problem in using the charging dock dk25, it look that the dock not countinous charge. I feel that the charging time is longger than charging using the usb port. I try to clean both connector, the dock and the phone, The smart connect program already turn off, but this problem happen.

Hi! In my case the reason of this problem was in use not original usb-to-phone cable. When i use original cable DK25 work normally.

Now after updating Xperia V to last JB4.3 i have a new problem. New firmware have STAMINA technology and it can be tuned to AutoON when battery is really low. When STAMINA is ON, charging in DK25 don't start. If i insert charging cable directly into the phone, it charges normally. If i turn STAMINA off, the phone charges normally at DK25. How i can resolve this problem?

I don't use SmartConnect. All events in this APP are OFF.
