So, water went into my NEW Xperia Z? Help?

So, my Xperia Z whose charger flap was open because I just disconnected it fell into the bucket. The charger port turned red and the micro SD card is kinda pinkish. First only the front camera seemed to be filled with water. As I found on an online forum, I just turned it off and kept it aside [as it was 4 in the morning when it happened.] I woke up at 1 p.m. and without thinking, I turned it on. It did turn on. But now the screen wen't crazy and was turning off and on and both the front and back camera were full of water. After about a few second the screen started acting crazy again so I decided to turn it off. But my power off button wouldn't work. I restarted it by clicking the Power and Volume up button together. The Sony and Xperia icons would show when starting up, but then the lock screen wouldn't. It'll be all black. And due to my all black screen, I couldn't even turn it off. So, I restarted it about 2-3 times. Then, I found a forum with the Power + Volume Up for 10 seconds trick and it finally turned off. Its currently in a bowl of rice with flaps open. I understand that this voids my warranty. But will the Service Center will be able to fix it if I pay for it?

if there's damage it will cost you almost as much as a new phone as the motherboard is the most expensive part of the phone, but GeoffH posted this link that might help you

if you have a spare phone, use it first and let the Z dry out for a few days. This is to allow any water that has seeped in to dry completely. After that, connect your Z to the charge for a bout 10 mins and hope that nothing serious is damaged. Then try to switch on your phone.

if that still fails, then you can bring your phone to the service centre.
