Volume up fails

Hi friends, first of all sorry for my english.

My problem with my Xperia is with Volume Up button, sometimes the button stop working, and works again just when i restart the phone (isn't physical problem). Someone have this problem too?.

The problem happen listening music, i don't know if that care... but i know that the button is not broken because just now is working fine (i don't need push harder and every time i press it works), and don't fails every day...

Is this a firmware bug or maybe is the music program? (i use Google Music player)

Do you also have problems with this button when just for example increase the call volume or when listening via the Walkman player?

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

I once had this problem when the Volume Up wasn't working at all. So, I just restarted the phone and it started working again. Since then, I haven't experienced the problem...

hi samuel,

i also face this problem once, there is nothing happen when i press the volume up button while listening via the walkman player and call volume also wont increase even press the volume up button.

After i reboot my phone, the volume up button only can worked again

Does anyone know if this issue is somehow related to the Volume Warning dialog?

I noticed that you cannot increase the volume until this warning has been successfully cleared (i.e. by pressing the OK button).

This was also true in ICS. If you accidently backed out of the dialog without hitting OK - say, you pressed the home button - and then tried increasing the volume again, it still wouldn't work, but the warning dialog would appear again so you could clear it.

Thanks for reply.

I get that problem using Google Music, but when error appears don't works even in Walkman, call or camera app (zoom). I can use vol down button to show volume bar and then i can volume up using that bar, but button still not working.

About volume message, i get that message one time but i pressed OK button, and don't care volume level, button don't work even if volume is off. Maybe the bug is that message, don't appear but limit vol up button.
