Remote control app features requests

This is my feature request about Remote Control app:

- better looking (buttons graphics like standard keyboard for example)

- more configurable layout (es. button text, position, ...)

- allow modify of a preset layout to create a new one

Extend it to Bluetooth so we can control ps3... This would be a product seller specially with ps4 coming...

Problem is it can't access the IR emitter/receiver directly so their database is useless because it can only control devices that you setup using the Sony remote app and the Sony database. Is there any way to request specific devices be added by Sony?

I have at least three components that I had to manually teach the remote app because they are not in the Sony database. That is not a big deal in itself except the Touchsquid app sees those learned codes as "Custom 1, Custom 2, and so on for those devices instead of the name I labeled them in the Sony remote app.

I was really hoping to replace my Marantz RC9200 remote with this tablet, but the Sony remote app is far too limited to do that. I hope Sony has plans on developing this app further providing more customization, flexibility and expanding the database of devices, otherwise give developers direct hardware acces to the IR emitter/receiver so we can use better remote apps please.

Good topic. I echo your requests too.

I would also like to see an option to place macros on the first page of the small windowed app since that's where I have my all on and all off buttons.

It would also be good to customise the layout of that small app too.
