I'm facing a new problem with my Xperia SL after JB update(6.2.B.0.200), screen is automatically turning on and off frequently when it is locked. Please help me to fix the issue.

it could be an app acting up or it could be a protecting case that its pressing on a key

I'm having the same apps when it was running in ICS..

also im not using protecting case for my mobile...

it wont delete your pictures, music and videos, the rest will be deleted

Had same issue if you have any third party screen lock app uninstall it will solve your issue
