Battery issue

hi,

i have sony ericsson Neo V mobile.I am facing issue with battery consumption i have fully charged but the battery is getting drained in 6 hrs with out usage.wifi is also not turned On. In applications i have noted that it shows in battery use as follows

cell standby--- 32%

phone idle------31%

android---------3%

Display-------10%

kindly send me suggestions to resolve this issue.

Hi,

Even i've been facing this issue from past 2 weeks.

The overall battery performance has come down pretty badly and i'm able to use it for somewhere around 4-5 hours with internet ON for 80% of the time. Before it used to stay awae for almost around 10-11 hours.

Good afternoon!
I have an Xperia Pro and I'm with the same problems. Besides the battery is running out very fast, the phone is warming far behind the battery. This started after upgrading the phone software I made 3 days ago.

Please disponibilizare a new version of android to fix these problems. The problem is software and not hardware.

Sorry to hear about your problem! Do you experience the same behavior if you have your phone in safe mode for a day?

To start your phone in safe mode, press and hold the menu button during the startup. No 3rd party apps will be active when in safe mode.

The cell standby seem to drain the quite a lot. That can be caused by bad network coverage. It might get better if you try with another SIM card in your phone.

If the problem persist when in safe mode I suggest that you try to make a factory reset or update/repair the phone software using PC Companion:
