usb connection problem and update (11.2.A.0.31) problem

i am unable to connect my xperia j to any of PC.

I tried all the possible ways, still i am facing this problem.

i got the new firmware update which says large file download it from wifi.

i downloaded and installed but it shows "could not install 11.2.A.0.31".

Try to change the USB connection mode under settings > Xperia > connectivity > USB connection mode. Change between MTP and MSC.

You can also try to update the phone using PC Companion or Update Service:

i tried all the above process, still im unable to connect my mobile through usb to my pc.

please help me to get the update also.(got error msg like "could not install 11.2.A.0.31").

If you have tried all the advices above I would recommend that you try with a different USB cable or try against another PC.

i tried with other pcs with other usb cable, still not working.

If you have tried all the things above I suggest that you try to make a factory reset of the phone and then try to connect it to a PC again.

If you still can't get the phone to connect in MTP or MSC mode to any PC or with different cables, I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local support for more information:

Please let me know is this a hardware problem or software problem.

i tried all the methods that you suggested above stiil not connected to pc.
