Apps are always stored on the phones internal memory. The external SD-card is used for media and other files.

Have you tried using Media Go from http://mediago.sony.com/enu/features?

If Media Go can't detect all your pictures, try moving the using a file manager in the phone like Astro File Manager or use the following application in your PC: http://www.fjsoft.at/en/.

You can set the camera to save pictures and videos to the SD-card from Camera -> [menu] -> Data storage.

When you transfer music to the phone from your computer you need to select destination when you transfer the files. If you for example right click a song in Media Go you can select to transfer it to internal or external memory in the phone.
