Dear helpers,

My phone has a little bug.

Sometimes, the battery percentage in the notification bar just disappear.

I don't use any third-party battery app, just the standard battery percentage shower from android.

When I re-check the box (see screenshot) the battery percentage shows up again.

I have installed all the recent update's but it still disappear sometimes.

Screenshot. You can see the box below is checked but there is no percentage showing.

Is this only on my phone, or also on other phones?

Here some additional information: (I'm from Holland)

I hope this can be fixed (with a new update?)

it might be an intrusive app

you don't need any of the following apps, uninstall them asap

taskillers

task managers

antivirus

ram app

battery app

booster apps

uninstall them > restart your phone and check again

I forgot to say that it doesn't happen all the time.

I have my phone for more than 2 weeks and it happend 2 times.

I just removed: Battery Defender, One Click Clear and App Cache Cleaner.

I will post if it happens again.

After removing the apps I announced and rebooting my phone, I still have the problem.

I was writing something in Evernote and suddenly the 3 buttons below (back, home and multitask) and the notification bar disappeared (another bug!). So I scrolled a bit and then the buttons and the bar appeared again. But the battery percentage was gone. I am not sure if the battery percentage was appearing before the buttons and the bar disappeared.

Last evening, after posting the first post, the bug was there too. I had removed the apps but i forgot to restart the phone, so I didn't report it because I thought it was caused by the apps.

I am often facing the other bug (3 buttons and notification bar disappearing). But when I scroll a bit and push some other buttons, the buttons and the bar shows up again after a couple of seconds, so I don't really care.

I hope the bug can be fixed.

I've got it again:

I was at the homescreen and I opened the notification center. When I was closing the notification center, I recieved some whatsapp messages. Then, the phone spaced a bit: the 3 buttons below and the notification bar disappeared. When i held the shutdown-button to make a screenshot, the buttons and the bar reappeared, but the battery percentage was gone.

It's getting pretty annoying.

Sounds pretty strange. To me it doesn't seem like it's a hardware problem, more of a software code error. Back up your apps and contacts if you need to, and reinstall the firmware using PC Companion.

If this still happens after firmware re-installation, then it might be a hardware problem indeed, and you'll need to service your phone using your warranty.

I am facing the same problem. This has happened twice today while using whatsapp messenger, the battery percentage just disappears. Also my notification light changed to yellow color while charging which is strange as it is normally red(when charging) or green(when fully charged). After restart it is again red color though.

I'm too facing this problem ,

After I receive What's App messages the 3 buttons (home,back,recent apps) and the staus bar disapper and then after a few seconds it again comes back.

Also many times Battery percent dissaperas .

[I don't have any task managers or battery apps installed].

i am also facing this same problem.

i had visited the service centre, they had again installed the os but the problem still persisted.

Actually,

Some time ago, I got this again.

Now I have 15.0.A.2.17 and I reinstalled it several times (because the memory bug).

It has something to do with WhatsApp.

I unlocked my phone. While my phone was receiving some whatsapp messages, I opend WhatsApp en navigated to a conversation. When I opend a conversation, the 3 buttons disappeared and the notification bar **bleep** well.

I remember this because I opened an awkward conversation and I coudn't get out because the home button wasn't there.

Hope this bug is gone in 4.2.2 update, although the update doesn't sound that nice (when I read other messages).
