hey,

I just recently bought this phone and was initially wondering about the same thing.

Check this website - http://www.boeboer.com/sony-xperia-sp-user-guide-specs-manual-5303-c5306/

The difference is the frequencies that the three different models support. Make sure you get the model that supports your local provider's specifications.

For me, I'm with AT&T in the US. I don't need 4G. So I got the C5302.

C5302 does not support 4G LTE(Very High Speed Internet) while C5303 supports 4G LTE.So Xperia SP C5303 is much more expensive than Xperia SP C5302.For the update question,it depends on which country you are from.If there is an update,then it will be available for all C5302,C5303 and C5306 but different countries will receive the update at different date.

The difference of the three varients of Xperia SP (C5302, C5303 and C5306) are only that of the Network. If you did buy C5303 or C5306 it's of no use as LTE Service is not available in India... So I think you should go for C5302 cause the other two varients are of no use. Only if you travel Internationally then the other two varients (C5303 and C5306) are of use..

Remember That all of the Three Varients have Same Configuration except network... C5302 also supports most networks across India.

I don't suggest you to buy Xperia sp
That there are new Xperia devices coming go for any one of that

Yes - definitely agree that the SP doesn't live up to it's specifications.

Maybe wait until after the 4.3 upgrade has come out and see if it's improved by that.

As we know 5203 is LTE it has capebility of 4G. so if you are from Banglore or etc when 4G is comming soon or you use it then prefrable to buy 5303 and you are not suppose to migrate on 4G and money oriented then you should buy 5302.

but when i connect it shows your phone is up to date(4.1.2 jellybean)

That's completely normal. The update is expected late Jan/early Feb.

Am using Xperia SP C5303 and it's great though when using outdoor/under direct sunlight if the auto lighting condition is on it's not clear. Otherwise it great
And for the 4.3 update is not yet out it should be expected this month end or early February.
