Only %96 charging!

Hi guys,

I encountered a promblem with my sony z charging recently.

The device is not charging more than %96 ! I tried several times with on and off phone, but in all times just %96 charged!

Even I left the phone connected to dock overnight , but in the morning I saw that only %96 charged.

I didn't have this problem before , but recently after I updated the software to the latest version , this problem appeared.

Anybody know any troubleshooting?

the only reason I can think of is that your battery is not calibrated properly or something is wrong with the battery. In other words, although it showing 96%, the battery may not actually only have 96% power left.

To fix this, repair yor phone using Sony Update Service or . Then charge your phone to 100% and use it till it reaches to 10%or better yet 0% without restarting your phone anywhere in between. You will need to let this cycle complete a few times before you will get optimum result.

Even after al this and it still only shows 96% at max charge, then you might need to bring your phone to the service centre.

Hi guys, I encountered this same problem this morning. Do you suggest I drain my battery down to 0% and then attempt to recharge it? By the way I allways use a magnetic charger. Thanks!!!
