Problem with DK23 TV dock

I cannot get a TV remote to navigate around my Experia T phone when connected to the Sony DK23 docking station. The phone screen is displayed on the TV but I can only navigate using the phone's screen. My TV is a Panasonic Viera but I have tried the dock on other TV's with the same result.

How do I get the TV remote to work?

I'm not using the dock but I think it's rather something wrong with the software than what hardware we use. I was expecting the support to say 'please buy original/genuine sony dock' but here you go - doesn't workk with the dock too. To you, probably they'd say 'buy sony tv and try again.

Well, I just want ONE user to confirm that it's working OR not, using only sony products, I mean Bravia TV, the phone and the orig. dock (for the HDMI cable, it's funny to me to use their's, because I think there isn't any major difference, but who knows?!). Not that if this confirmation appears, we will be honored with official satisfactory answer from SUPPORT TEAM, but anyhow...

Hi guys i recieved my tv dock today for xperia t and can confirm it works correctly

i am using original phone charger, cheap hdmi lead and a samsung tv.

tv is also hdmi cec which is needed for remote to work phone

Hello, thanks for the answer.

My TV is a Sony one KDL 40EX 402 and is capable of cec (at least should be) but it doesn't work. Maybe I should read a little more about this hdmi control thing to see how it operates and if a shitty adapter may be causing this since the this is the probable problem of mine. I hope that it's not the tv though.

I'm happy that your adapter does the job. I'm considering buying one. Maybe chay's problem is software incompatibility.

I have the same set up (Panasonic Vierra), so far I've only watched movies but I can confirm the remote would pause play rewind etc the movie using the 'DVD' buttons at the bottom of the controller.
