SOLA keypad issue.

Hello everyone,

recently i am having this issue with the keypad, while i am texting, sometimes letter 'a' or the 'backspace'

or the numeric keys toggle button just dont respond, i have to repeatedly tap it to get active..

but when i change the keypad to Xperia Japenese (with eng buttons) it seems more OK..

Please help me, with this issue as this was not there before, and its just anoying me.

Seems like there might be something wrong with the calibration or the screen. Try repairing the phone software via PC Companion at first.

Try clearing data for the Xperia keyboard from Settings -> Apps -> All and see if that helps. Also try updating the phones software if you haven't done so recently: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-sola/.

still, the problem is somewhat not cleared, could you suggest any method to re-caliberate the screen..?

@support IS THERE ANY WAY to recaliberate the screen, or should i try flashing to GB or should i visit the service center..??

Sorry for the late reply.

Have you tried repairing the phone software via PC Companion? If not, try it. If it doesn't work, send it in to a service center as you can't calibrate this properly by yourself.

Have given to Service center, said the touchscreen needs to be replaced, im waiting for my repairs....:smileysad:
