Software Update failure

I connected my Xperia V to my Mac and started the spftware update. During the middle of the process, the PC Companion got crashed and quit. My Xperia V cannot start up now! What should I do?

Instead of using Pc Companion on your Mac you should use Bridge for Mac wish you can find here: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/bridge-for-mac

Hi! Chompiz, thanks for the reply! In fact, I was using Bridge for Mac, it was a typo. During the updating process, the Bridge for Mac was crashed and quit suddenly. I cannot power up the phone, the screen shows an triangular sign with an exclaimation mark only without any options.

You dont happen to have a Windows computer nearby? In that case you should use Sony Update Service that you can find on Sony Mobiles website, and I´m 99% sure that it can fix your problem and get your phone back on track again.

I don't have a PC, but I tried to use the Windows XP installed in my Mac with the Sony Update Service, it seems cannot connecting successfully. I finally send it to the Service Center today. They said it will be done on Monday. FIVE DAYS! Crazy!
