xperia S - Charging problem

My xperia s is taking a long time to charge. frm 15 to 20% it nearly took an hour. it takes10 mins to increase 1%. someone pls help me out..

The values you mentioned above are when you charge via wall socket ? or laptop/ PC

Anyways no matter what type of charging it is, it shouldn't take this much

Do this

Press and hold Power Button and Volume Up button at the same time and hold them there for 10 Seconds. That would disconnect the battery .

See if it behaves in the same abnormal way, if yes, then go for a software repair

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions
