SMS Problems since Jelly Bean Update

Hey Guys,

Don't know if you can help. Since the Jelly Bean Update I'm having problems sending SMS to Multiple contacts.
I have a text that I want to forward on to Multiple Contacts. I select all of the contacts that I want to send to them press send.
I then get a notification that the Message App is sending a large amount of messages and do I wish to allow this.
I press ok several times, as it pops up several times. Some of the messages are sent but not all of them.

I then have to go into each individual message and select re-send on each message.

Any Ideas

Hm, sounds strange. How many contacts are you trying to send this SMS to?

Hi Samuel,

Before the update I could send one text 50 People.

After the update I can send 10. If I select anymore I get the error message and have to go into each message and select resend.

Now I know all I need to do is send 10 at a time. But prior to the update I could select 50 Contacts, press send and they would all be sent.

Thanks Samuel,

Also I've just noticed that when I play music using the Walkman App that if my screen goes off the tracks don't continually play. But when you unlock the screen the next track starts.

Hi Gav,

have you had a reply on this issue yet or are you still waiting. I've got exactly the same problem and I've just had a new software upgrade 17th April 2013 software version, 9.1A.1.140

but this hasn't fixed the issue if you havent had a reply from the sony folk have you solved the problem by anothe means? Any help is greatly appreciated as this is getting on my tits now.

Nope nothing at all. It's shocking to be honest with you. I certainly am regretting getting a Sony Phone and in the future I'm really going to have to think twice about getting one.

I haven't had the update yet.

Hello there, mine is Xperia Acro S

I have the same problem, the only difference is, I can send sms to 25 contacts that is when I upgrade ICS to JB.
in ICS the maximum contact I can send ( single SMS ) is 50, now in JB it is down to 25.
can sony fix this ?
I hope they will not ask us to download SMS app in store ( even if it is free )
coz I still want to use the default/stock app on my android.
