Have you tried repairing the software via PC Companion to see if it's related to the software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If not, try it! &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.sonymobile.com/update" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://www.sonymobile.com/update&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the problem still persists after the repair, send the phone in to a service center for a check, since it might be related to the headset connector. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

When you get the message telling you that the phone already is updated you have a link to the repair option.
