I was using tipo dual with two sims one had 3g activated and the second was only 2g (both Vodafone India)

For last 1 month I am note able to use 3g on my phone. When I select bothSIMs as 2G. I am able to access data. The moment I shift the 3g activated SIM back to CDMA or GSM/CDMA preffered, the first sim (3g) stops working and is not even able to acess calls (shows emergency calls only) in status.

I have also tried replacing the SIM at first. This same SIM works instantly in another 3g phone.

I was able to use both SIM a month back without much problem.

Local service center says try upgrade using pcsuite, but software is already up to date.

Pls suggest quick resolution, since data acess without 3g does not make Amy sense.

There are many of us facing the similar issues with dual sim handset. You are just one of us who chose the wrong phone. Quite frankly I am done doing RnD on this issue because I couldn't find one, try finding some solutions on the internet if you can. But, think 100 times before giving your handset to the service centre.
