Working with the ACS ACR122U NFC reader

Hi,
I am trying to develop an application where I can establish P2P communication between the Xperia S device and the ACR122U NFC reader. In POC project I try to send a simple text data to the reader from the phone and read it on the PC. But before doing anything whenever I place the NFC enabled device near the reader the reader starts Blinking and beeping, which seems like the reader connecting and disconnecting repeatedly. I have read this reader worked well with the Nexus S NFC phone and some developers have done P2P communication using that. I'd like to know why this is happening and if there is any change in the NFC hardware or architecture which gives this differing results.

This is not really my area of expertise but i checked the specification for Xperia S and it does support P2P for NFC.

I've managed to solve this problem. The problem was when using this phone for P2P NFC the reader has to be in Target mode. In initial testing I have not set it in that mode (i.e the reader was in Initiator mode.) Once I've changed the reader to target mode I managed to successfully establish connection and beam data through NFC.

hey samjayathilaka i've been looking all over the internet for some help on the exact application that you needed. Could you manage to develop that app? Could you help me?.

I need to send data i enter in an android application to my pc via the acr122u reader.

This data has to be queried to a mysql database.
