Problem in wifi

My phone is experia j. I've updated my phone to Android 4.1.2, but the wifi is disabled and does not search at all. And is not connected to any network. Thanks for your help.

i have exatly the same problem, i updated yesterday as the update came.

but no access to wifi:(

i think there is a problem with ur region's frimware:|

i even master reseted the phone but no luck:smileysad:

My wifi keep on connecting and authenticating after updating to 4.1.2 yesterday. please respond.

I also download sus global version. I still have this problem. I also agree with this theory that it may depend on our region.

Is there any method for roll backing to pre-versions?

I don't understand most of the replies, so lets try the basic

repair your phone with either pcc or sus
do NOT install any antivirus, taskiller, battery app, etc
do NOT enable stamina mode

thanks for the info!

this is a summary of the problems that we have encountered... :

the main problem is that the WIFI is not working for anybody in our region(Middle East) this happened following the OS update ob "Xepira" J to "android 4.1.2".

The information that you provided does not solve our our problem there is somthing more basic we thing somtheing that happened following that OS update.

I would like to point oiut that everything else is working fine except for the WiFi!!

Could it be that the regional ROM has some sort of a problem!

I had to go back to Android 4.0.4, and I hope Sony can offer a complete and correct ROM for Xperia j

it could be a regional issue, but I've seen major updates before and most of the issues are resolved once the users re-install the OS
