Help needed from any .54 build users

I backed up my phone contacts through PCC before updating my phone from .54 to .75 build. Now when i try to restore the backup, it is showing as incompatible phone to restore I have the .dbk backup file and if anyone of you have .54 build and would like to help, i can send the backup file and please restore it on your phone and send me the .vcf backup of contacts. I have important contacts and i can't collect them from beginning now, its impossible Thanks in advance

when i install new firmwares and back up my contacts i use this:

contacts > mark all > back up > INTERNAL STORAGE

ive done it a hundred times and i have no problems recovering it. if im not mistaken xperia P can read only .vcf files. check this thread for some informations.

My phone and pcc cannot see the backup karan has made,even though i am on 54...someone else could help him please.

Before update i was on .54 build when i took backup. I'm sure. Now i'm in .75 build alex.

The backup should still work after updating the phones software so that sounds very strange. What happens if you move the db-file to another computer and import it there?

No,pcc said it cannot restore...and i am on .54.

I tried that too, but its d same result. I had nearly 500 contacts and i have to collect them from scratch now Please try to solve this.

Sounds like there may be something wrong with the dbk-file in this case.

I'll send you an email address with PM that you can send the file to so i can have a look at it.

could the dbk file be corrupted?it is very small,but it only contains contacts right?
