I have just recently updated my sony xperia t to android 4.1.2 and Now there are many problems:

The battery drain is just mental, it only lasts me a day, whereas with android 4.0.4 it used to last me over 2 days easily

The 'improved' walkman app is just plain rubbish, most of the time when you are listening to a playlist it just will not go onto the next track. You have to press the power button for it to play the next track

The 'smoother' interface in now so rubbish, the is quite a bit of lag in the swipe of the homescreens, whereas with android 4.0.4 it was silky smooth

Can someone please help me?????

First check if you have installed any task manager/killer in your phone and if so, try uninstalling it. When the music player stops in standby it can be a task manager that's killing the process. A task manager can also cause a higher battery usage. If it's not a task manager, have you checked what's using the battery under Settings -> Power management -> Battery?

We got some feedback in another thread that certain widgets like the weather widget can cause some small lag on the homescreen in the new update.

Thanks for your reply, but I do not have any task killer/manager apps running. Also just today, I disovered that once you listen to music via headphones, than take out the headphones to listen to it on the loudspeaker, there is just silence, I can only fix this by turning the phone off anf on again.

Can Sony please release a patch to fix these problems?????

Jellybean has turned the superb phone that I showed off to everyone into a clunky nightmare I wouldn't recommend at all.

Like other people my battery life has halved. Apparently the screen is using up the most power, but I'm not using it any more than normal.

4 days ago I picked it up and it had gone dark and unresponsive with a red battery light (even though it had a 60% charge). Since I can't get to the battery to pull it out I just held down combinations of buttons in the hope that it would reset and thankfully it did.

Today it is refusing to give me a data connection and keeps telling me that Google has an error.

About half an hour ago while I was looking at it, it just restarted itself in my hand.
