hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I've tried to browse the forum but couldn't solve my problem. So I had to register to the forum and post my query.

I've been using xperia mini pro for about a year. Now all of a sudden it has started behaving unexpectedly.

By reading this forum, I've tried the solutions I found, but they ddn't work for me.

I repaired my phone using the PC comapanion, and removed the screen guard that I had put on it recently. But the screen still doesn't turn off during a call, when the phone is brought to ear. I ran the service test using the service code: *#*#7378423#*#*, and the test for PROXIMITY SWITCH showed that 'THIS DEVICE DOES NOT SUPPRT THE FUNCTION'. This was totally unexpected!

Does anyone know what's wrong with my phone, and how to get it right?

As the problem remains even after a repair in PC Companion i suggest you contact your local Sony Xperia support (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/) or a service location for assistance.
