Notification Led doesn't work

Hi! I have an Sk17a and I just update my phone to ICS 4.0.4, now i'm seeing that the led of notification doesn't work when the screen is off and I receive a message or anything

Do you have the same problem? All the people says that this problem is for ICS

What do you think about it? Sony will solve it?

hi, that´s a bug that came with the ics update, so far sony hasn´t fixed this issue, we just have to wait for the next update that could take months from now. Please check that the led is not working only for sms, it should work when you get a call or an im.

Hello francoale1,

While you waiting for a new product update (4.1.B.1.13) that could be helpful for resolving for Led notifications issue, check the SmsAwake app from the Play Store.

It may temporarily solve your problem with Led notification for SMS messages.

That's not bad for a start.

The newest build is planned at the end of January.

Some people have already received and unfortunately are not very satisfied.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can always load CM10 from FreeXperia (https://sites.google.com/site/projectfreexperia/home). I recently loaded it and it's been great so far. Not only do you get a smooth JB build, it also fixes the LED bug, and the 2 bugs below that were never fixed by Sony:
