if you understood stamina mode you would understand that it creates a profile of usage patterns and adjusts accordingly - clearing the data is simply deleting this info and it starts to profile your usage again - it's quite cleaver but you need to understand it has limitations - if I played games constantly then the reported "time remaining" would eventually adjust to that usage and show a few hours not days of time left, at the end of the day it is doing something very similar to you as you get to know your phone - you will learn how long you can watch video - how long you can listen to music - how long you can play games

It's been reported that you can watch video for 4-5hrs - if you are constantly watching video then that is what stamina/power management will report about time remaining - I would have thought that is pretty simple to understand

and if you run your phone with wireless off or maybe only wifi on - stamina mode time remaining will not be vastly different to not having it on - I have noticed that wifi uses about 1% of my total battery drain so turning it off might give me about 2 hours extra battery time of a reported 2 days under normal use but that is dependent on what else I'm doing - it won't add 2 hours to watching a video

generally I don't think people can quite get their head round how battery usage - power drain - time left - battery % and stamina mode relate to each other

I have taken the time to try and explain this here and on another thread - I hope you will appriciate it

If you any questions about what I have posted please feel free to ask

In my opinion all aspects of power mangement and reporting on the EZ are working fine

I just looked at my "time remaining" both on normal and stamina

Time stamina off 4 days - Stamina mode on adds 19hrs

I have never repaired my phone - performed a hard reset of any kind - have not deleted any eco data - have not installed any utility software or antivirus and class myself as a below average user - I also don't use stamina mode as I turn "wifi BT and Data" on and off as I required them

And the battery gets used up very quickly...

the company says that the standby time us around 550 hours.... But my fone shows a standby time of just 80 hours...

Seriously, is this your first Smartphone?

If you want to see anything close to that standby time you will have to switch *everything* off; WiFi, Mobile connection, everything...

Two and a half days standby is pretty good for any smartphone.

Stamina mode is broken for some people since the update from 350 to 434

Originally, my phone showed 4 days and 12 hours on 100%.

After a week, my phone showed 2 days and 10 hours on 100%.

After another week, my phone showed 1 day and 15 hours on 100%.

Now my phone shows 15 hours on 100%. And it shows 15 hours with Stamina mode ON and OFF.

Prior to the update, it would show more time with Stamina ON, and less time with Stamina OFF.

I've tried clearing the data in 'Eco mode controller' (a suggested fix) and this adds an hour or two, so it goes from 15 hours to 18 hours.

But that does NOT explain why my battery has reduced so much from 4 days+ to 15 hours, particularly when the Support Staff on this forum advise & suggest that multiple charging cycles will improve battery life. If anything, they seem to have the exact opposite effect.
