Major problem with my Xperia S

Hi,

I am having a problem with my Sony Xperia S.

What i would like to understand is how i could get into the internal storage of my phone, because when i turn it on it is starting the load and it is just staying on the XPERIA logo and does not load further. I waited for really long time and it is just not loading and stays on the logo screen till the battary drain. So i need to get into the internal storage somehow and fix the problem.

If you have any idea i would love to hear it from you.

To fix the problem I would advise running an update/repair (yes this can be performed with the phone powered off)

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps
