Please help : issue with supplied charger

I need your help. Today I purchased xperia z and when I tried to fit its charger on socket it didn't fit in. I tried every socket including portable extension but all failed. Its ep880 charger. Also when I tried to send a file from my note 2 to Z via Wifi direct it showed that file transfer is not available. Have I done a mistake by buying Sony's such a costly flagship product ? Advice me what to do.

The pronged adaptor is not fitting into your wall socket? Is it to wide/narrow, the wrong shape? Could you maybe take a photo and share it?
I assume you can still charge via USB on a computer?

As for the wifi direct, can you send a file the other way (Xperia Z to Note 2?).

The process to do this requires quite a bit of setup (compared to bluetooth for example), but this video can guide you.

Thank you Jeff ! Charger issue is resolved. Actually i had to push the charger pin upwards which i had never seen till now. WiFi Direct is really the first choice while transferring huge data. This video shows mirroring the data not transfering the data.

Please check this video out. May be your team still hasn't used WiFi Direct so this feature is not polished in SONY Devices. I would be glad if someone can actually confirm .

As I understand you need to an application in Xperia Z for Wi-Fi direct. I have tried one called SuperBeam and it worked just fine.
