Simlock problem

I cant simunlock my phone because i move from UK and cant back in 1-2 years. I go to sony center and they tell me "we cant help you" "its your own very expesnive stamp or pice of brick now" private developers tell me: "75£ and it wll be simunlocked" fack rly? i bouth that smratshit for a 150£ and now i cant make calls. What can i do now? can you tell me? Propably again you wll tell me "we cant help you", "Next time buy simunloced phone" - next time i buy samsung or htc.

I think if you flash the phone with unlocked sim firmwire it will fix your problem. And if you're using the latest firmwire 6.1.1.c.1.10 don't forget to check "Exclude TA" option in Flashtool before flashing. That option is to exclude simlock from your system.

but my sim is loced man. And you wanna tell me if i flash my phone on "bootloader unlock allowed: no" i can delete simlock?

As i recall you don't need to unlock the bootloader to flash the official firmwire. Unlocking bootloader is needed for flashing custom roms I think

I think yes... If it's deleting whole system, why not the simlock? It's not a hardware lock

Here is short tutorial and links for flashing.

After installing flashtool, install the Xperia U, Fastboot and Flashmode drivers (they are in Flashtool folder). And follow the instructions to step 4. Step 5 and further is for rooting your phone.

Make sure your selection look like this

:smileygrin: This is regular way of flashing (just like updating via PCC or SUS)... Basically even Sony use the same flashtool (some stuff are removed ) as official sony tool for flashing. The firmwire is used & tested by many (even me)... Only thing that can go wrong is if you don't have installed drivers :smileygrin: or you/your pc fault

Even if so, if against all odds you manage to brick your phone, you can repair it easily via PC Companion. So, there is nothing to worry about.

And yes, DO A SETTINGS RESET after flashing... Never forget that

I was trying to sim-unlock a xperia u this week and I discover that I NEVER WILL BUY A SONY XPERIA SMARTPHONE. I usually root and then simunlocked the most smartphones...Samsung, Htc, LG, Huaweei...but, the sony smartphones are special. You must first simunlocked the phone to root it. So, you must pay to your operator to root your phone. I know that you don´t want to root the phone, but to sim unlocked the most smartphones first is needed to root the phone.

Search a web company to sim unlock your phone...or pay to your operator for the unlock code. Is the only way I have found.

Im not in UK you get it? And i cant go to Tree.co.uk (3) and take the code to unlock my phone. That TUtorial is about how unlock my botloader not about how can i unlock my SIM. But TY anyway.

Have you tried to contact the network operator to get the unlock code? They should be able to provide it to you. If you have ended your previous subscription or agreement.

y i tried to cantact them. They tell me: we cant help you, you are not first owner of phone bla bla. They are same useless shit as SONY support. I go to private developer and pay 30 pounds for unlock my phone. They make it in 15minutes - you cant help me for a week. Thank you very much sony >.< never again buy this shit again, NEVER!

Ifthey are unable to help you,you could simply sim unlock your phone by purchasing unlock codes from any commercial vendors online like Unlock-zone.com
