Updating problem

Hi,

I can't update the software of my Xperia S.

Whenever I try I get an error message telling me that it's impossible to update because the telephone has a modified version of the software.

I purchased the Xperia from another person, it's actually a second hand telephone and I don't know about previous changes on it.

Can you help me?

Unfortunately this means the previous owner has made modification to the operating system such as unlocking the bootloader. In this case there is little we can do to reverse this process sorry.

hope it can be reformatted. if not then obviously, your phone was damaged by its first user. soo sad!! sory about that.
