I had a problem with my walkman app. Every now and then it stopped playing, going in the pause mode. I also had a problem with the android mediaserver, using a lot op battery power. The walkman ap also took a long time playing the next song.

I read a post on the internet that a possible cause for these problems could be faulty MP3's, with corrupted ID3 tags or junk files attached to it.

I downloaded a mp3 checker, copied al music to my desktop and ran the program. It found a lot of corrupted mp3. The software repaired the mp3 and I putted the repaired mp3's back on my phone. My walkman problems were solved.

This is the link to the program, it's free.

http://mp3val.sourceforge.net/

Note Sometimes the program stops scanning. Simply remove the mp3 and scan again.

I hope it helps

Do you use the Sony Smart Connect app? Because when I did it also stopped playing. I use a bluetooth device now (Sony MW600) and it works with Throw (don't ask me what it is or how it works) and that works great. Try to disable it and see if it works. If it doesn't, try to reinstall the software with PC companion (don't forget to make a back up).

this is happening to all the people around the world (known bug), so PCC or SEUS won't solve anything.

i will also try to disable the Sony Smart Connect app to see where it goes.

thanks for the tip.
