Speaker Volume

Hi!

Is there any way to make the phone's speaker louder? I can't play or show anything withouth having to be completely silent, it is quite annoying!

have you try checking or unchecking the xloud feature of the phone? but you know as an xperia P user i think we have a very low quality sound. comparing it to other phones with low specifications we are totally lacking in sound quality. im talkin about the loudspeaker because music sound on earphones are really awesome.

i also notice that when adjusting the volume from lowest to mid high the sound is still the same. im not sure if im the only one who notice it but try checking it out.

as florenz said check if xloud is check box is checked also if ur phone is rooted try an app called beats audio installer

i havent tried it bit heard it does a significant difference

dont install if ur phone is not rooted i also dont reponsibility for any damage caused to ur phone if u root it

I agree with you, I've observe the Speaker of my Xperia , I tried from hearing the loudness from mute to volume 15 and I've noticed @ volume 8 -15 , there's not much DB will be increase.

Hi Everyone, same thing... Xloud doesn't make much of a difference... maybe there is an app or a config for rooted phones; might try it

i think you need to get use to it calibur. yes our phone is not that loud but with my everyday use sound, ringtones is not really a big issue. if you really want to get your speakers louder you need to buy this from sony..

well i dont know about u guys but my Xloud on my xperia u makes a big difference

well it does not make it louder than any other sound device but makes it upto that level

when it is off i can bearly hear any sound

the Xperia U is much louder than the Xperia P , before I bought my Xperia P last december, I ask the the salesman If I can test both P and U before Purchasing cause I might change my Mind that day, and first thing I check the Sounds and Yeah Xperia U is louder than P, you can even check Gsmarena and the fact is also true.

reeli i havent reeeli used an xperia p to realise the difference but i am still not satisfied with the xperia u sound volume . i can imagine what u guys are going through..... snyways i think the xperia s gives good sound

yep,i love it too,and today i have been at an orange store and put my hands on xperia t.i could not leave the phone out of my sticky fingers.it is super fast and amazing.XPERIA's rock!

i dont know,i am kind of on low budget,and i need my tattoo renewed so i cannot afford.maybe somewhere in the last quarter of this year,i will go for xperia z or v.what about you?
