Read this Xperia P , Freaky Battery drain problem + worst charger ???? !

I have bought Sony Xperia P recently and had a worst journey with it

I am facing battery Problems it never gives me 4 hours of battery backup when i surf net for 4 hours with low brightness

, Charger is a freaky boost charger right ? , It has power charging but i have to keep charging for 3 hours damn thats more time to get charged .

is charger is bad or my my charger is shit ? help needed immediately , even the freaky battery drain issue , help me to resolve it ...

And one more question : how much time does it take for xperia p users to charge your phone from 0% to 100% ?

It depends on every user,but even though the phone might charge in 1 hour from 10%to 100%,it stays there about half an hour until full charged(see this).As for the charger,try another one and see if it is any difference.

Sounds like it might be useful to try another charger also to make sure what might be the cause of the eventual problem you've faced.

You should not buy anything.

Do you use your phone 4HRS straight browsing the net?

You could try reparing it with PC Companion or Sony Update Service.

If you don't know how. there is on-screen instruction on SUS.

If you want to be sure. Bring it to sony service center. and have them repair your Phone. It only takes 10 to 20mins to repair the phone.

Also my phone takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.

(Mine gets about 4 hours straight of full web browsing to get down to 10%).

Ryan : Sony service centre guys in India are just shit , they have shitty attitude probelms , they say "we cant do that" for any problem whenever i concern them or charge money for that issue though we have warranty !

Miltos : even mine takes around 1 hour and 40 mins for a complete charge , is it ok bro ?

In PC Companion,

1. connect your phone to PC via USB

2. Wait till the PCCompanion detects your phone

3. When it detects your phone.

4. Look at the upper left corner of the PCC Beside the photo of your phone.

5. Click the blue "your phone is upto date"

6. A pop-up message will appear.

7. click repair phone.

8. follow instruction.

Can't say if it's ok for almost 2 hours to charge... I can test mine when i discharge it. I'll have the results in 1-2 days :smileyhappy:.

Do you have another wall charger to test?

You open PCC,and somewhere in upper left you see either your phone is up to date,or the software version available for download(if any).For repair,click there when it says up to date,you will be prompted with the repair option.

It took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach from 33% to 95%.
Keep in mind that the Phone was turned on, locked but in awake mode.

I will test further without the Phone on and post the results these days...
