I am experiencing the same problem as here:

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Tempted to flash to 2.3.7 and never buy another Sony smartphone!

Same here, pin request loop since ICS update.

Running ICS .54 build.

I'm on 6.1.1.B.1.10.

Does the C.0 fix this?

Its true that there are so many threads on touch screen problem and I'm also face this issue ..

But what I need to know is,,

Will Future software updates solve this touch scrren problem ??.. I'm not angry if it take months for ICS UPDATE (My SI 1261-8812) but Will software updates solve this ??( I don't think this issue is 100% related to hardware faulty.... Because I didn't do anything stupid to my phone ...nyway I tried resetting + all those suggested methods)
