there are myriad threads on this topic, Sony is working on this. Ever since Facebook updated their app all this issue arose

yeah they are working on it but its too SLOOOOOOOWWWWW.. you dont need to wait for sony to fix this, go to my thread here http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/345822#345822 i provided the solution. just download it, extract and install all the apps like a normal apk to update your timescape. will work 101%

it helped a lot of troubled users Xperia S/SL, P, ion, Sola and U. posted this solutuion to help you guys and not to wait for sony's LIGHTNING SPEED-ish update to resolve this issue. haha
