My replacement still has a defect. What is going on Sony?

I'd say that's quite normal with smartphone screens. Nothing to be concerned about:) It doesn't even affect the screen at all, at least in my case. I can't see it when using my device normally. If it bothers you, then be my quest and be bothered but it's not an issue for me. Maybe your light bleed affects more than mine, i can't say:)

The batch/lot or group of phones from where you bought your phone must have been defective. So the replacements were useless.

There is no way that this should be Normal.

I think that if it is completely functional, then it should perfectly be fine.

Unless you are experiencing functional problems and/or often use the phone while tilting, then the bleeding should really be irritating.

From where exactly did you buy your Xperia Go? Store and country?

Show me 1 Smart Phone with this issue. I haven't seen one yet. My brother has an S3, iPhone 4S, etc etc. My cousin has the HTC.

None of their screens have the light leak issue.

The only phone with this problem is Sony. Another user with the Xperia U also has the light leak issues.

BTW, this was purchased in the USA. By 2 different seller on Amazon.

Yeah, Sony has those issues, end of story. This is the only thing you should know about my opinion: I DON'T CARE! PERIOD! Argue/discuss with others about this but leave me out of it because you already know my opinion. This is my last message about this topic.

I think you'll have to get a replacement but with different phone/model.

That is not acceptable to have an unhappy customer. Really.

We are protected by consumer rights. Check with your local government offices such as trade and industry.

I had done this once when I bought a defective Nokia E5, it just went blank after just less than a week of use (both item). The replacement was worse. I acted and contacted our department of trade and indsutry here in the Philippines and sued the store if they won't replace the item again. So we had an agreement to just buy a much expensive unit and pay in excess of Nokia price. That was my story, it could be yours too. Hehe.

Probably no light bleed issue on those that you know but search around and you will be surprised to know that there are also those who experience it on other brands.

Mine has a bleeding light too, but haven't noticed until now. It seems that it doesn't bother me a bit.

update! I have returned the phone for a refund. Not paying $250 for a defective phone. I'll wait to see wait the Galaxy S4 looks like and if it doesn't lookl ike that S3 soap bar, I'll prolly get that.

For now, I'm using my unlocked Galaxy tab 7.7 as a phone. lol

The Z is too big and probably has light leak issues too. I prefer the size of the Xperia Go.

Yeah, the tab I'm using now is big, but I rather carry that in my hand than stuff a huge phone in my pocket.

Awesome! Samsung is releasing the Galaxy S4 mini. I think I will get that instead. Perfect sized phone also and more poweful cpu, more rams, super amoled display, and overall, should be better quality than the Go.

Not waterproof or dust proof but I can live with that.
