I have a sandisk 32 c4 microSD card. I use PC companion to transfer files to my phone/microSD.

Buti after i disconnect, most of the files end up in the LOST.DIR folder and get corrupted.

I already have the latest update and I have unmounted/formatted and restarted my phone several times but the problem persists.

THIS PROBLEM REALLY MAKES MY PHONE USELESS. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I just formatted another memory card (8gig) and i'm going to test the hole day.

The faulty one (32gig) worked ok for a couple hours, then after shut down or "sleeping" for long periods it would turn on with lots of missing files (they got sent to LOST.DIR).

LOST.DIR is a folder where the "lost" files go,those who were not completely copied or are corrupted.Sometimes,if they are not removed from lost.dir, they keep appearing in media folders, but cannot be accessed.

Yeah, the funny thing is, as I mentioned, it does work fine for some time, but out of no where the files get sent to this LOST.DIR - (usually after shut down or not using the fone for some time).

When I mount the memcard in my PC I can manually put the extension (ex: .mp4) and play/run the file.

So the files are not partially copied or corrupted, they just loose their folther address and extension.

Well, the brandless 8gb card is working flawless - The LOST.DIR is empty all the time now!

The strange thing is that i ran "h2testw_1.4" on the 32gb sandisk and found no error, and Im using it in the computer with an adapter without problems...

Im really afraid that I might buy another 32gb card and end up with the same problems again.

Im buying a samsung class 10 32 gb now just to keep myself away from the sandisk.

Any way, thanks for the reply!!
