Problem with Xperia T Walkman player

Hi to all. I'm new one here.

Well, I have my Xperia T for last 2 months. And, beside camera issues, I have one problem I did not find answer anywhere on Internet.

I use to listen music on my Xperia for one and half or two hours daily.

What happenes? Walkman player simply stops playing mp3 and it shuts down showing on widget on homescreen first song I started to listen.

And in 2h listening it happens 3 or 4 times. I'm going crazy!

I tried to Repair, reseting to factory settings - nothing helped! Still have ICS (latest update).

What to do to get my player working properly?

Does this happens if you use a different Music player from the Play Store?

I have this same problem. Have you found a fix for it. I am thinking of uninstalling and getting the Walkman App from Google Play and trying again, Obviously I will lose all of my playlists though. The problem has actually got even worse since I updated the software on Thursday, It seems to stop cos phone is in sleep as when I press the power button it starts again!

What are your camera issues, by the way. I find my indoor pics to be grainy and to be honest my 5mp HTC was a better camera than this 12mp Sony. I am disappointed I have to say as I only wanted it for music and camera.

You see, SONY's experts do not know anything about bad Walkman app installed in Xperia T model.

Nothing, I formated memory card and twice put factory reset to my phone.

Problem is now solved although sometimes it happens the same I described in my first post.

Still have ICS, waiting for JB upgrade but I doubt it will solve camera problem. My opinion is that is hardware issue. Shame of Sony, my 2MP Nokia has better pics than 13MP on XT.

Hmmm, I installed a different media player and it does the same thing so its not the Walkman app but the phone itself I fear.

I called Sony today and the guy suggested back up and restore but restoring my apps is a load of hard work if it won't make any difference anyway.

I can't believe in a phone of this supposed quality, Sony apparently don't see this being an issue worth addressing. The Walkman brand was one of the main reasons I chose Sony over HTC and Samsung.

I can't see Sony ever catching Samsung in the handset market if they don't pay attention to detail. I feel a bit ripped off to be honest.

In ICS, the walkman was OK in my phone. The problem has actually worse since I updated the software on 4 february, It seems to stop cos phone is in sleep as when I press the power button it starts again! An after manny pushes I find in the next morning alarm not ringing, and any sound not worked. The walkman app disabled all the sounds or the loudspeaker.

Are you trying to say that JB uograde (4.1.2) make the problem even worse? I have T-Mobile branded XT and officially not yet Jelly Bean.

Folks, I stoped to listening music on my device. I'm so affraid that this problem may occur again so I do not open Walkman!

Now, what do we know about this issue?

1. It happens whem phone is off and we want to switch on display,

What do you think about background processes? I have 4 mailboxes sincronizing at the same time. Maybe it has something with ROM. Just guessing, I don't know real answer. YET!

Which apps provide you:

1) information on bitrate of the track being played (or of tracks in the library)?

2) a nice cover flow look? (Walkman does not really do this, only in the Now Playing where by switch covers the track automatically jumps.

Hi, I am writing in the room of xperia t about what's going on with xperia ion the same thing happens, I restored the factory and repaired with pc companion but the walkman freezes when using simultaneously with the browser default or chrome. I reported here on the forum I hope to improve with the next update jelly beans or fix.

Guys I updated my Xperia T to JB.

What to say-same problem with Walkman is still here!!!

I have version .140 of JB, but no improvements.

Sometimes, I've noticed, when I'm using Chrome browser and listening music at the same time, and push Home button, home screen takes about 5 seconds to fill it with icons. I have digital clock, Accuweather, Search and couple of shortcuts...

What's the problem with big T? Lack of ROM, what?

I'm reading that Z model doesn't have Walkman issues. Is it answer? Lot of ROM?

And will Sony finally solve my/our problem with walkman at all? They know about it and doing nothing. Or they can not do anything else?
