hey i am still using gingerbread due to buggy ics and several issues have been found like most of the time the phone gets hang up when a call recive when driving and when i take it from pocket and when i swipe it get stuck and several calls have been dropped i restore my phone many times but still it happens and as for the home use its not a problem its not getting stuck.

should there a gb 2.3.6 which i can update or a reinstall option where i can fix this bug hanging phone.

if i upgraded to ics will it fix but i think ics consumes more ram and multitasking is difficult for neo v in ics...so gaming will not be good

please help should i get repaired with gb or need to upgrade

There will be no more Gingerbread update for the 2011 Xperia phones. I suggest that you try doing the ICS update using PC Companion.
